[ She says without missing a beat. Clearly, she doesn't have a lot of faith in Jaeger's shop. Or... well, it is unless Sakura doesn't know what the snake oil reference means. ]

Okay well, in that case, maybe regular pepper spray would do the trick.

Well maybe! I've been good at hitting them since earlier, surprisingly. Not all that ... translucent for being ghosts.

[ In fact, as one is coming up to try and pull at Sakura's bag, Elda is grabbing it by the tail, spinning it in the air like a sling, and then throwing it into the wall of the building next to them.

[RUDE GHOST, this is Sakura's favorite bag, okay? She holds the pepper spray in her right hand while staring at the ghost that arcs through the air like a Looney Tunes gag.

Though when another ghost comes up behind her, the girl is prepared this time -- and swings her tote like a battle axe, slamming the thing away from her]

... Oh no, I hope I didn't hurt it too bad...

I mean they're already dead and stuffed.

[ That said, she blinks, as she's slowly realizing... oh, she can understand them? The things groans and grumbles? because I paid 160 for the ability to interact with ghosts ]

Mmm... but maybe it's just in their nature. They don't know what they're doing.

[This apparently doesn't stop Sakura from readying her tote bag for a second round, in case a ghost gets too close. She frowns at the sky, like she's chastising a child]

[Don't even start with her, bear. Her nerves are fried and whatever excitement she'd felt at fist seeing the ghost frays like the wick to a stick of dynamite.

... Well, everyone seems to be able to see these? But...

[ She taps a finger on her cheek, ]

Well, I guess "her" granddaughter did have all those pet ghosts...

She mutters that more to herself than anything. ]

Did she have the ability to talk to ghosts as well?

[She can't think of any other reason for this. At best, Sakura can pick out laughter from the ghosts and that's it]

I don't know. I've not gotten any memories about 'em, but I know that her granddaughter had a big sense for ghosts. So maybe she did.
