He bites his lip when she groans, trying to keep her on her feet and keeping her burnt arm covered for the time being, unsure on treating it himself without some water to cool a burn, without specific medical knowledge himself on this sort of thing.]

[ She's.

... Yeah she's irritable through the pain here and she would normally be a borderline medical professional? But right now, she's just real out of it. ]

[Yeah, he might be kind of panicking and a little confused, as much as he is obviously trying to help, as he calls for someone to come and get them and take them to the hospital to get her looked at. To get her burns seen to. To help her somehow after encountering her like this.]

I get that point! We just have to wait in the shade for now until they come get us.

[ she snaps, but... ]

[But as for Yuu, he doesn't specifically have anything, besides his clothes he has on him, unfortunately. Still, he's trying his best and working with what he has at the moment at least. In trying to keep her protected and all.]

[ She shouts this defiantly, intending to swat at him until that means she needs to move now burned muscles in her arms, which causes her to yell out in pain and cry a little. ]

I can't just make something appear out of thin air to block out the sun! I'll hold it over you or something.

[Which. Is the best he can manage. Especially with the car pulls up to pick them up. Waiting expectantly for them. Yuu hurries her to the taxi, holding up his jacket in some attempt to use it to shade her as she gets in.]

[ But he better be good at it. Everywhere he skin is exposed to the light it starts to smoke a little, threatening to light up again. She goes at this quickly, and once in the taxi she sinks down into it, hiding herself from the light and brighting her lips. She's still cradling her particularly badly burned arm, but... ]

[He secures the shirt to the window as best he can, giving the driver the order to get them to the hospital and shoving some cash at him. Telling him to just drive and get them there quickly. Then he pulls on his seatbelt and turns to check on Elda.]

[ That probably sounds less sincere than one would like oops...

Ah well. ]

Th -- uh. Sure. Yeah. It's fine.

[All he was doing was arranging transport to get her to the doctor. It's not like he knows much beyond some bare basics on treating burns, if that. But still. He guesses this much is due thanks?]

[ I mean some of it was - well a lot of it was pretty flat. But she's curled up here until they get to the hospital. ... She's not thinking that far ahead though. She has no idea how she'll survive going in, let alone being inside there when sunlight burns her. Yuichiro's been drafted into helping a lot, oops. ]

[Once they get there, Yuu tries to get the driver to park as close to the entrance as possible, in the shade of the building. He retrieves his coat and uses it to keep shielding her on the way inside, before glancing around for someone to talk to about getting her seen to.]

We're here. Hopefully this won't take long before someone can check your arm.

I've got good insurance in my purse.

[ But okay!! to the main desk to announce she's here. She's going to all but shove said card at the people, and show her arm once she's inside. She needs this treated. Now. ]

Purse? Okay.

[He'll help her to the desk, getting her purse and finding her insurance details to hand over as he explains she got burnt on her arm and needs it looked at. Though he's not sure how much of a priority that might be with others around too.]

[ One look at Elda's arm is enough to alarm them enough to hurry her to a room, actually, asking if Yuuichiro needs to come with or what his relation is. Elda squeaks out he doesn't need to linger but if he wants her can - also she needs there to be sunlight blocked.

It'll be suspicious, but... It's better than risking it. ]

I -- I'm not sure I'd be allowed to come in, but I'll wait. Just so I know everything's okay. Or if there might be anything to sign or whatever.

[He's not sure. He hasn't exactly had to bring anyone to the hospital like this before. But it's true that he wants to make sure she will be alright. That the hospital can help and will listen in keeping her out of the sun.]

[ She wants to assure him that he doesn't need to but...

She does appreciate it a lot.

He can actually come with, as long as she okays it. In an emergency room, unless it's busy, they won't lock it to just family. Well, unless she passes out or something. ]

[Once he has done with any forms he has to sign or whatever, for bringing her in, Yuu will follow if allowed. Just to sit and observe and make sure she would be alright. To talk about her arm being burned. He'll leave out just how that happened for now, in figuring that might be something she could decide she wants to tell them. At least in keeping her from getting further burnt if put in a room with windows.

He sits on the bed opposite, biting his lip.]

So, is she -- you guys can help, right?

[ It's a pretty severe burn. How did this even happen, did she- but Elda speaks up to clarify the lie that it was scalding water. Scalding water wouldn't quite create this, but she can't quite say the sun burned her that bad, right? And in her pain addled brain it's the best excuse she can come up with.

Even so, they do nod at this and set to work trying to help the arm somehow. ]

[Scalding water? Sure. Whatever. As long as they can treat it, he isn't too worried how they take that or if they believe it. Just so long as she can get help. Yuu doesn't say anything otherwise in telling them what really happened. He figures all she has to do is get treated now and then avoid going outside during the day or something once she gets back home out of here.]

However long it takes.

[ Well then...

Elda needs to go to sleep here so that they can access if there's anything they operatively need to do. Namely, they need to put her in a specialized antibiotic bath and scrub off the dead skin, clean it out. They put her on an IV of electrolytes, pain medication, and antibiotics. The big risk, of course, is infection. Once she's been soaked and scrubbed, there's some talk of it they need to do anything surgical, but they note her skin is recovering abnormally fast. So in the end, she is going to be taken to a humid room for recovery where they can monitor her. ]

[If this takes too long, Yuu might end up dozing in the chair while waiting around and wanting to hear how she is at some point. But he does wake in time for them to note on how quickly she is healing from it. That's good, right? So he figures.]

They say you're recovering fast. That's good. Or, I mean. That you're healing up quick even if it sucks you had to learn about this the hard way. How do you feel now?

A little drugged up.

[ She answers, sluggishly. That said, that's better than blistering pain. She tries hard not to look at her arm and... ]

That's good it can mend itself, though...

[ Exhale. ]

You didn't need to stay, you know.

I know. But I at least wanted to be sure you were gonna be alright. I mean, I'd feel bad if I just left you here without checking.

[For all that he had something of a temper and as much as he might have his defenses of seeming like he didn't care. Underneath it, Yuu did. Under that bluster and tsundere habit of his anyway.]
