Matt has determination and will power to spare, and he regularly follows his mission for justice and the safety of others through both his day job and his night activities. That said he wears himself out to the point it's a miracle he doesn't collapse, and as determined as he is his view of the world is not all sunshine and rainbows. He often suffers from symptoms of depression and copes via workaholic habits and punching criminals. His blood might go back and forth between good and bad smell based on how well he's taking care of himself. I think you'd be the better judge of that though.
