This is a journal for Elda Marker from Karin (aka Chibi Vampire because Tokyopop and specifically from the manga version because her anime version has a pretty different backstory/execution) so if you have any comments for me about how I'm playing her or critique or ... whatever feel free to do it here.

Appearance
You can see a half-body shot here, but to hit up the other bases, Eldar Marker is quite short (only around five feet in height) and very slight in frame in basically every regard, with long and thin limbs and a petite body. She has large eyes and relatively soft features. She is, notably enough for anime, actually from Caucasian stock, originally from somewhere in Western Europe (most likely England given the name). Notable features about her include her long and very well kept hair and the fact that she has visible fangs, being a vampire and all.

However, despite this, Elda has to be actively trying to exude and aura of actually being as slight and demure as she could be at a glance. She's by far one of the most powerful people in her world and walks around with an awareness of this in her every step. Her appearance is dignified, but her movements tend to be a lot more acrobatic and lithe, a lot of crouching, harsh chasing, tacky fake laughs, etc. It's worth noting that her eyes, while I've colored them red in all her icons sort have this brownish into red thing going on a lot of the time, and when she is either in a mood or trying to be intimidating her eyes will shift to something more catlike and dangerous looking.

Also she has long lady fingernails that she paints red and seems to have this whole thing about not wearing shoes, which you wouldn't necessarily expect of her given the rest of her appearance. And despite all of this she actually has very light steps and when she's not mouthing off is stealthy.

Other Stuff
For the 2% of you that care about spoilers for Karin, Elda could provide a few of them, but nothing which would be integral to your enjoyment of the story and it's twists, particularly with how I set up her memory regains for Trustfell. So you shouldn't need to worry about that, if you still are feel free to tell me. Also she is a vampire and also a survivor of a near-extinction event for vampires, so that does play into her backstory and psyche. I don't foresee a ton of talking about that? But it's possible and if either of those skeeve you feel free to tell me.

Perhaps more importantly, Elda can be very physical and handsy (just because of her lack of boundaries), so if that's an absolute no-no for you for whatever reason, please tell me and I'll accommodate, because I have no desire to make people uncomfortable. In addition to this she'll likely threaten or perform violence at some point (even outside of being a culprit or victim, I mean) but I'll talk it out with you if it heads towards anything serious and be okay with consequences if those come up.

My dear girl,

If you're reading this, you've killed me. It's not fitting for me to ask forgiveness, but you've either given it or not given it before I've gone down into the pit. This letter doesn't say anything I won't have already said. But if in the heat of the moment I ever made it sound like I chose to belittle you and my love for you then please disregard that as best you can. I've been given an impossible choice this current week, to choose between you and the salvation of that family which I'm connected to by blood. By taking what actions I've taken, the choice is not you over them, but rather a failure on my part.

It means that I made the worst choice. Assuming things go well, Rin might well be dead, and my choice for her was a calculated towards what would make sure I stood a chance at getting away with it. As I once told Luca, if I'm going to make the choice, it must be all or none. This is in stark contradiction to this letter, I know. And if that is something you cannot handle, then please find solace in your girl or with any of the others, and please win where I proved to be incapable.

Enclosed is a letter you are to deliver to my Henry. At the least, my actions will ensure you have a home to return to in Shihaba, with or without this old woman. I've lived more than long enough, and try to remember me well.
